“Your
talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.” – ‘Leo Buscaglia’ This quote by the famous American writer really
left me dumbstruck as I kept asking myself “Do I have any talents?” And if I had
, if I was making the best use of my talents? Or working hard so I could
improve on it?? Now I’m pretty sure many of you’ll reading this also would be
figuring out the answers to these questions.
Speaking of talent brings me to this newly formed English boy band group called “Collabro” specializing in Musical theatre auditioned and went on to win the 8th installment of the hit TV series “Britain’s Got Talent”. An unprecedented 11 million viewers tuned in to watch Collabro’s TV contest final. After wining Collabro also signed a deal with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music. Their debut album Stars was released on 18th August 2014 which debuted at #1 in the UK.
The singing quintet, formed less than a year ago captured the hearts of the judges and the voting public with their unique take on songs from the musicals including their spine-tingling version of Stars (Les Misérables). They emerged as the winners beating favorites “Bars and Melody” - this young duo released their debut single “Hopeful” which went straight to #5 on the U.K Singles Chart.
The band has an enthusiastic following that they refer to as their "Collaborators". On 17 June, they announced their first ever tour, along with runner-up Lucy Kay, in 2015. We shouldn’t be labeling them as “Just another boy band” throwing at us some random pop songs. So I suggest you’ll to listen to their cover for 'All of Me', as well as new renditions of 'Let It Go' from Disney's Frozen and 'Stars' from Les Misérables and decide for yourselves.
I would like to end this post by another quote –“There is no such thing as a great talent without great will power.” So my beloved readers please make the best use of your talents and show the world what you are made up of. A loser is the one who tries and fails but a bigger loser is the one who never tries fearing failure. Cheers!!

These are my
top 10 suggestion for this week: - Enjoy!!
Ø
Taylor
Swift – Blank Space (Pop)
This
song was declared as the next official single from her “1989” album after the
huge success of “Shake it off”. Perhaps this may be the one of the best songs
of her album.
Ø
Jason
Aldean - Burnin it Down (Country)
This
is the lead single from his upcoming 6th studio album. With its
rat-a-tat drum loop and slinking progression with nice background music this
song has topped the country charts.
Ø
Colbie
Cailat – Blaze ( Pop)
The
pop tune consists of synth sound, more of a party anthem and less drinking
coffee along the beach kinda track from her album gypsy heart.
Ø
Martin
Garrix & MOTi - Virus (How About Now) Original Mix (House)
This
song contains a fast paced melody wherein Garrix pairs the catchy house anthem
with a stunning, high energy bass line.
Ø
Bassjackers
- Savior(Original Mix) (Electro- house)
This
is a classic big-room track bound to be dance floor banger with its exciting
build up and an extremely heavy drop.
Ø
Imagine
Dragons- I bet my life (Rock)
This
track from their new album has a slightly folkier vibe than the past hits
“Radioactive”. It has transitions from apprehensive verses to loud celebratory
choruses.
Ø
Kiesza
- No Enemiesz (Electro-pop)
This
Canadian singer released this song as the 3rd cut of her debut studio
album “Sound of a woman” after the huge success of her debut song “Hideaway”.
Ø
Meghan
Trainor - My dear future Husband
This
super fun and sassy song will be the follow up single to the chart topper “All
about the Bass”. All the gals out there would probably dream of their man in
the same way.
Ø
Alesso
feat. Ryan Tedder – Scars(Electro)
This
electro- house track produced by the Swedish sensation is not only bound to be
on a gym playlist but as well on every DJ’s club mix also.
Ø
Arianna
Grande feat. The Weeknd – Love me harder(R&B)
The
21 y.o Arianna has teamed up with this Canadian artist to release this new
